Also, gore warning (it's a fnaf au timeline, expect talk of harrowing stuff).

_________________________________________________________________________

The events in my AU take place in Chicago unless stated otherwise.

1975: Fredbear's Family Diner is opened by Carla Mitty. Daniel Discord is the financial manager and Philip Guy and Ina Diego are the spring lock operators. It's a small business, and nothing really happens aside from it being the scene of a mysterious murder. The killer was never caught and was dubbed by the police as 'Mr A'.

1975: Vincent and Violet Taylor are told by their parents that they'll be picked up for their new job with the company that the parents already worked for, known as 'The Joy Of Creation': a company that was supposed to be working on scientific advancements, but had been secretly overrun by killers from Fazbear Entertainment and Afton robotics. Having not agreed to any of this, the twins refused, but they were too in shock, and couldn't exactly react to anything, so they were Picked up by Daniel. Violet was dropped off at HQ, whilst Vincent was being taken on a field mission. Being in shock, Vincent misinterpreted the engine of a nearby car popping as a gunshot, and believed his sister to have been killed. Still in shock, when Vincent was instructed by Daniel to kill the child standing outside the restaurant. Believing he had no choice, he complied.

1975: Carla disappears and is found in a dumpster - dead - a week later, and management moves to Daniel, as per William's plan. Due to this shift in management, Fazbear entertainment becomes a part of this dark side of the TJOC Foundation. Despite major quarrels between Daniel and the head of the foundation due to Daniel's violent and unjust 'research methods', Fazbear entertainment's and Afton Robotics stranglehold over the larger company make it so Daniel gets to run the location, aided by Vincent Taylor. Such similar teams of a manager and someone who seems rather shady have begun to become commonplace in running locations.

1979 Fredbear's shuts, but Fredbear and friends is currently under construction, so the employees are set to work 'elsewhere'.

1983: Fredbear and friends opens under the control of TJOC - or more accurately Fazbear entertainment and Afton robotics using the parent company as a mask. Vincent Taylor is officially set as the head of security, and Philip starts recording some tapes on how to safely use the spring lock suits.

1984: 13th June, Ina Diego and Phillip Guy are both killed in spring lock accidents, turning them into Shadow Bonnie and Shadow Freddy respectively. Phone Guy is hired as his fathers replacement, and mimics his father's customer service voice to record one final tape regarding the spring-lock suits falling out of use.

Meanwhile, Ina's daughter - Joy - runs away to live with her grandmother after her mother's death, meaning that she narrowly avoided becoming her mother's replacement.

1985: Phone Guy and Vincent Taylor find out they are possessed by Shadow Freddy and Shadow Bonnie respectively. This is also when Phone Guy finds out the surname Vincent's last name is Taylor (he thought that Vincent's middle name - Vincenzo - was his surname, as Vincent had a tendency to refer to people by their first and middle name). Representatives from TJOC(Again, actually Fazbear Entertainment and Afton Robotics fronting as them) arrive at the location to get feedback on progress from Daniel. Phone Guy overhears this conversation on accident by being in the wrong place at the wrong time, and the 'TJOC' representatives and Daniel spot him and capture him on the spot due to these representatives being in favour of how Daniel runs things and generally being on his side. After hours that night, Phone Guy is tortured by Daniel in order to keep him quiet about what he heard. Later that year, the location rebrands itself to Freddy Fazbears Pizza.

1987 (Jan -> June): Vincent Taylor's children begin to fall out. It starts as small arguments, but slowly gets worse. Vincent and his Wife have no idea as to what is going on. Felix was actually slowly being manipulated by Daniel to act more aggressive, and Gerald to act more timid. By June, Vincent hardly recognises his own children.

June 1987: Vincent's sons birthday. The elder twin (Felix) forces the younger-by-a-minute ones (Gerald) head into Fredbear's mouth, causing the bite of 87. The younger twin manages to recover after a few weeks in hospital and a lobotomy. Gerald has a complete personality switch, becoming a bit more like his former self, and Felix feels bad about what he did and realises he had been manipulated, so Gerald joins the other kids, wearing a golden Freddy mask as the fifth member of their group. Vincent believes and hopes that everything is back to normal.

August 1987: At a 'birthday party', all five of the children involved in the bite are murdered after being lured into the safe room by Vincent who was wearing the Spring Bonnie suit. Vincent didn't want to hurt his own children, let alone anyone else's, but his first kill was held against him, and Daniel told Vincent that either he would obey and kill them, or that someone else, someone more brutal, would be sent in to kill the kids. Vincent didn't really have much of a choice: the least he could do was make their deaths quick.

During the 'party', Phone Guy was supposed to be recording the party for one of the parents of the children. His camera repeatedly cut out during the filming, so he spent most of the time trying to figure out why. When the parents noticed that some of the children had disappeared, Phone Guy went to investigate. Upon reaching the safe room, he realised it smelled of blood, so opened the door, and the second he saw the corpses and a shadowy figure running out of the room towards him, he immediately closed the door and ran, handed the camera to the desk clerk/accountant (Amina), and then called the police from a payphone outside. After doing this, he begun to run to the police station, but didn't make it all the way as he got shot in the leg by the 'pink guy': a man called Dimitri Gunn. Phone Guy survives, but struggles to walk - let alone run - for the next few months, which was Dan's entire plan with having Dimitri on the roof.

This sparked an investigation into the locations, but aside from witness statements of the golden animatronic abducting the children, and the recording from Phone Guys video camera, there is not enough evidence for anything to happen. Several people say they saw a shadow of spring bonnie chase Phone Guy out of the building, but due to ghosts being a complex thing and not yet understood, this yields no evidence except what is already known (the killer used the spring bonnie suit, so seeing even a hallucination of that running towards you would spook someone).

September 1987: Police from across the states have a meeting in Hurricane, Utah, to discuss the disappearances and how to investigate it without putting themselves or the public in danger.

September 1987: Michael Afton takes a job at Circus Baby's rental service as a technician. Four days later, he is kidnaped by the robots but found by two other technicians; Oliver Rocha and Morgan Smith. The next day, Michael arrived to find Oliver and Morgan had been hung in Foxy's auditorium and Ballora gallery respectively. Michael is later disembowelled by the scooper. When management showed up at 3 AM due to unusual elevator activity, Oliver and Morgan were nowhere to be found, and only Michael's internal organs remained. Michael was reported as dead. Morgan and Oliver were suspected to be alive, but reported as missing.

September 1987: Morgan and Oliver return to Chicago. 'Morgan' drops his false identity. Only Oliver, one officer in Hurricane, and his own mother know that Morgan Smith and Mike Schmidt are one in the same. Due to the injuries to their throats, Oliver and Mike suffer from frequent debilitating coughing fits.

November 1987: Just before the reopening of a new location, five other children are lured into the empty establishment and murdered. The night guard who was on duty at the time - who went by the name of Sarah Flynn - was knocked unconscious for the duration of these events so there were no witnesses. Sarah Flynn was actually an undercover detective named Audery, and had a camera concealed on herself which proved she was not the killer, but did nothing more to aid the investigation as the neither attackers face nor any notable features that may identify the killer were caught on camera.

The new Freddy Fazbears Pizza opens, and Fritz Smith takes the job as Nightwatch. After this night, Fritz notices something wrong with the animatronics, making them more violent that what he was told a first night should be like according to the statements made by some of the former and still working security guards of Freddy's. He hacked into the animatronics and realises that they've been tampered with. He manages to reset them, but he was caught by Daniel and Vincent. Daniel considered framing Fritz, but decided it was too much hassle, so simply fired him. Jeremy took the nightshift for the rest of the week to help pay for food and rent as his PI career was failing. Fritz, despite not working at Freddy's, returned to actively help Jeremy through his sixth night.

During the nights, Phone Guy had to hide away in a small secret room which also has access to the left vent. It's worth noting that he was also trapped in there during the pre-grand-reopening murders. Phone Guy wound up having a mental breakdown on the sixth night during the lockdown, and was found by a rather violent 13 year old who had to effectively drag him through the vents and to the office.

The lockdown on this night six was purposely caused by Daniel Discord so that two certain technicians (Oliver Rocha and Morgan Smith) and Phone Guy (Krasnyy) were trapped in the building. Daniel Discord's plan was to get those three killed, ordering Vincent to kill them, as they were the only staff members who knew about shady ongoings of Faz'Ent' enough to be a threat. Nobody was killed, and Vincent couldn't even locate Morgan Smith despite his Boss's insistence that Morgan was in the building.

After these chaotic events, The New Freddy Fazbears Pizza shuts, yet no arrests were made regarding the murders that occurred just over one week prior due to lack of evidence. The only data on the killer was that he seemed rather stiff in his actions and was rather unconvincing as a mascot.

After 1987: From the New Freddy Fazbears Pizzeria closing down in 1987 to the FNAF 1 location opening in 1993, the guards had to work at a location in Evanston (Illinois) before being switched yet again to the previously motioned location in Chicago (Illinois) which had been renovated. Due to the long commute, the guards from Chicago usually work part time, or fit two weeks worth of hours in one week, staying in company provided accommodation, and then spend the next week at home. This is also the part where Fazbear Entertainment's business side send out a bunch of death threats, promising to personally ship the heads of several people to the Chicago police department if the investigation into the murders continued. The science side however continue to goof off and not give half of a shit, on top of actively sabotaging the business side through various 'for shits and giggles' 'experiments', aka pranks.

1988: A young girl goes missing in Chicago and her brother and his 3 friends go underground to an abandoned never-finished-construction circus baby's rental service. The 4 teens (Fred, Edward, Beth, and Laura) die saving the young girl (Bon).

(TJOC foundation threaten that they will remove Fazbear Entertainment from the foundation if the killings continue, but they don't realise that their threats are empty, as they can't do anything as they don't yet realise they've actually been overrun by them)

Early 1993: Joy Diego, the daughter of Ina (the ghost who became Shadow Bonnie) has a daughter named Vanessa Sylvia Blake (The father is Bill Blake. Due to being blind, Joy never figured out that Bill was 1 - a Fazbear Exec or 2 - he switched Sylvia's forename and middle name from 'Sylvia Vanessa' to 'Vanessa Sylvia').

April 1993: Freddy Fazbears Pizza re-opens. The possessed animatronics roam the halls, causing some of the guards (unnamed) to be killed by said animatronics, whilst some others chose to kill themselves. Several guards do survive, regardless.

August 1993: Ryley, a tracker who was trying to locate the corpses of the missing children manages to locate the body dump. Whilst there, he is found by Daniel Discord, who forces him to make a deal; if Ryley survives his next shift to tell anyone where the body dump is, his sister will be killed. Due to a lack of animatronic activity that night, Ryley is forced to take his own life in order to save his sister's.

August 1993: Mike (who had become a police officer) was training some rookies in gun safety. In a freak accident, one of the guns misfires and shoots him in the gut. He survives, but is not allowed to work for the next few months.

August 1993: Due to the death of the previous guard, Phone Guy (who has started to refer to himself by his middle name: Krasnyy) is moved to the night shift, knowing that Vincent Taylor is still trying to kill him. He is attacked on his fourth night, and barely survives. He spends the next three months hiding in the shadows of the Pizzeria, mainly in the safe room, and mainly under the control of Shadow Freddy (the ghost of Philip Guy).

November 1993: Mike Schmidt takes the night shift, as he has deemed himself well enough to work somewhere part time. His real reason is that he has a hunch that Krasnyy is still in the Freddy's building, so took the job to have access to the building. Phone Guy is rescued on Mike's 7th night, and Mike is wrongly fired for tampering with the animatronics (Which was actually Taylor's doing as a direct request from William. A request that completely missed going through Daniel .D.). A fortnight later, Mike receives a letter stating that he can go back to working there. After a long discussion with his wife Danielle (Danielle is a cop, like Mike), he takes the job back to help gather more information for the police to use.

William frequently checks up on this and some of the other few remaining locations seeing as there are so few left open, as many close at the end of 1993.

January 1995: Violet decides that enough had been enough and after Krasnyy found out who she was and reached out to her, she showed up at Freddy's one day to inform her brother that she was in fact alive. It was also at this point where Vincent was being sent around the country to deal with the "Clean-up" at other locations. At this point, Vincent was only staying alive and not giving himself up to the animatronics for his sisters sake.

Late 1995: William suddenly and uncharacteristically ceases contact with all locations for a while, but after a while, begins contact again, but not in person due to a quote-unquote "illness" (Actually another springlock failure).

Jan 1997: Bill files for divorce against Joy so he can take the kid as he's intent on keeping a certain promise to his boss. By threatening the lives of his daughter, the judge, and his attorney, things almost go his way until the moment before the verdict where Sylvia, despite being very young, screamed up that she had been forced to lie, and had even made it blatant and easy to contradict, and she had to lie because Bill had threatened her and her mum. This made Bill's attorney also state to the court he was also threatened. The trial turns the other foot, but being a coward, the judge still grants Bill custody.
Feb 1997: After the custody trial that was basically a failure (sure no false charges were filed against Joy, but Bill's 3 perjury charges (all cases of people lying were turned onto him and him alone) never went anywhere and he had Sylvia), Joy and Mike are hanging out, trying to figure out why the hell he wanted to keep Joy's kid so badly when the balcony breaks due to years of rust rotting the metal. They fall and the worst injury is a sprained ankle, but Joy was misreported as dead for the second time in her life. This fake news gets back to Sylvia via Bill.
Joy gets a new boyfriend because she doesn't want to dwell on the past.

August 1997: Freddy Fazbears Pizza shuts its doors for the last time, and Fazbear entertainment appears to have disappeared off the face of the earth. At this point, Afton Robotics has completely merged with Fazbear Entertainment, keeping their own names for their respective departments, but Afton robotics takes a front seat. TJOC is discarded by the AR+FE combo, and is left to return to what it intended to be, albeit a shell of it's former purpose.

Vincent finds that his wife, Noire, had been hiding their third child from him since 1987. Vincent had been told that Noire miscarried, but that was a lie to keep thier daughter, Jane, safe from becoming a meat pretzel.

Dec 1997 - Vanessa Diego is born and she has reduced resistance to possession, which her grandma (Ina) found out when helping Joy and her new spouse care for the child.

1998: Bon hands Mike a construction log that lets him re-open the case of the disappearances of Edward, Fred, Laura, and Beth. Mike also learns that Michael Afton and Edward were boyfriends before their deaths. Mike tells than that there's no guarantee he can relay this information to Michael as he's not sure if Michael still wants him dead or not.

January 2000: Vincent Taylor returns to the abandoned restaurant to destroy the animatronics as his last mission. He knows he is going to die. After dismantling the animatronics, he finds himself - even though he didn't want to - putting on the Spring Bonnie suit. He felt like someone or something was controlling him into wearing the suit. As the suit was damp, the springlocks failed, and the spring bonnie suit soon became his grave. Violet finds spring bonnie and uses the spirit serum she was working on to effectively bind her bothers body to spring bonnie, effectively creating a non-infectious zombie capable of actual thought and emotions. Vincent Taylor, now being referred to as 'TaylorTrap', works from then on for his sister. However, something notable about the suit, and TaylorTrap himself, is that certain frequencies of sound cause the suit to take over, causing him to to attack any humanoid that seems to be living at random, and other frequencies allow total mind control. This range of frequencies is small and obscure, so this is the least of the twins worries for now.

February 2000: Another killing by the elusive 'Mr A' (William Afton as referred to by the Chicago Police) takes place at the abandoned restaurant. Phone Guy (who goes by Krasnyy pretty much all the time now) goes to investigate. He finds Vincent Taylor in his new form - or to put it the right way round, Vincent Taylor finds him - and Vincent Taylor (now referred to as TaylorTrap) fills Krasnyy in on that he - TaylorTrap - now works for his sister, and that his new mission is to help find and eliminate the true centre of Fazbear Entertainment and Afton robotics.

Many other investigations occur, and the court case finally goes through, however is blocked due to the culprit being dead (albeit a zombie), and the fact that if a verdict is reached, it would shut off any avenues that anyone had to look into the other incidents of Freddy's.

2004: high tech animatronics get sent after former employees of Freddy's. Mike, Jeremy, Fritz, and Krasnyy receive a phone call from Audery who comes with a promise to get the animatronics of their backs if they meet up with her. On their way there, the train gets hijacked by animatronics. They escape the train, and then a freight train crashes into the train after they get well into the forest. They see the train go up in flames, and just keep moving, now needing alternate transportation. they are reported as dead despite being alive. They just roll with it.

They get ambushed by the new Chica, who almost kills Fritz. At the nearby police station about halfway between where they started and where they wanted to be, they meet up with Audery earlier than anticipated. She informs them of the alternate locations, and that they will be seeing other ex-guards much like themselves, as well as Fazbear Entertainments plans for an entroupenour (I cant spell it) kit. The guards already know about the alternate locations, with Krasnyy having known and befriended some other people like himself back in the mid-90's, but the amount of alternate locations was not anticipated by any of them (They thought it was only going to be 9 or 10. Turns out the location count was at 50-something).

As there was an alleged delay on the entroupenour kits arrival, they went to Utah to find some of the other ex-guards.

2004: They go to an abandoned warehouse to investigate disappearances, and Krassny goes in to open the shutters, but is almost killed by William, aka Scraptrap. He is found my TaylorTrap, but they are forced into a deadly game, but not as players, but as an antagonising force. The 'player' is Audery, who fell for a similar trick. William intends the animatronics to mistake her for himself, kill her, and move on. Audery wants to rile up the robots and set them on William.

Audery wins, likely through cheating using her gun.

They escape and find the people who went missing are alive, much to the relief of everyone involved.

The kits arrive, and it is deemed straight to work on setting up this new plan.

Audery sets up a restaurant in Washington, yet no salvage animatronics show up. Some of her colleagues set up locations elsewhere, and arguably have worse luck, as one has their undercover identity blacklisted from ever stepping foot inside Colorado ever again, and another is carted off to an asylum by Fazbear entertainment. The silver lining is that a band of other officers, lead by Danielle Schmidt (Officer Peirson, professionally) raid the asylum and confirm that the only 'patients' there are not insane, but are just innocents who know too much about Freddy's. The patients are free to go and the staff at the asylum are arrested.

Audery sets up one last location in Hurricane Utah as a last ditch attempt to try and solve all of this.

She gets her salvages, and spends her days trying to find the secrets in the robots and arcades.

Many strange folk come to this place to work for her, including a rotting corpse man who Mike could not stand the presence of on the first day, a robotic seeming woman and her fiancรฉ, who Krasnyy and Jeremy seemed to recognise, on the second and third day.

On the fifth day, the underground portion of the restaurant went up in flames. All staff and patrons were evacuated, aside from Audery, and the corpse man - Michael - who Audery assumes helped set up the fire. As a man on the TV spoke, Audery managed to find a way out whilst Michael seemed to willingly stay behind to make the robots succumb to the silver flames.

After Audery escaped with severe burns and wounds, but alive, the building collapsed into the sinkhole, putting out the fire below, leaving the only part of the tunnels as a small segment of the desk and the television that was used as a monitor in the office behind. A man appeared on screen, and the robotic woman recognised this as her father.

An argument was had regarding setting the building alight, until the signal was partly hijacked by PT, who just wanted to check in on everyone, and a petite, sickly blonde girl in a lab-coat who begun to talk about how she knew of Henry's 'condition' and that she had replicated it, and that setting a building on fire remotely was a pretty dick move. Turns out that all of Henry, PT, and the girl can all manipulate fire (all three were aware of their own abilities prior to this point, but were unaware that the others possessed this possession skill too), provided there was a cable running to that place, which started a small literal flame war between the three.

2005: Things seem to return to normal, with the occasional small trips to Freddy's locations in order to try and gain more information, but nothing massive happens for quite some time.

Whilst Vincent tries to have a normal life, normal is not easy for a walking corpse, so he spends a lot of time in the safe room at Freddy's, torn between wanting Jane to have a father and not wanting her to wind up anything like himself.

[Early paranormal responder segment]
2005: Joy's spouse, who was a construction worker contracted to help clear the wreckage, vanishes without a trace.

2007: An incident involving a pair of teenagers and a dog animatronic occurs. Fazbear Entertainment is held responsible.

2011: Sylvia Blake runs away from home and joins the CPD's paranormal department as a paranormal responder.
A Variety of cases occur which the paranormal departments of Chicago (lead by Mike Schmidt) and Hurricane (lead by Carl Burke) investigate, including severed limbs, people being Ship of Theseus'd into scrap metal, cases of sudden onset paranoia, and even some deaths.

2012: Gregory jr is born (he is the son of the male from the 2007 dog case).

2012: Sylvia is knocked out whilst investigating Faz Ent and winds up getting ambushed and knocked out. She wakes up with a deep gash in her arm, and nothing more.

2012: Cassie Blake is created. She is a gene splice of Sylvia Blake and an unnamed Faz Ent employee.

[blank space for extra au stuff]

2017: Noire dies of "some lame-o complication" as she puts it and hold the world record for coming back as a ghost. This ghost form is known as phantom marionette.

Phoenix Douglas, one of the victims of the kidnappings back in 2004 and the husband of Mike and Dannielle's adopted daughter, Theren, opens up a horror attraction called "Fazbear's Fright". He finds Vincent Taylor (Taylortrap), who he mistakes for a normal robot seeing as he is sleeping, and takes him to the attraction. When he wakes up, he find that "oh, that's a dude, dude." and treats the bunny man as he would an employee. However, during the night, Theren swears she heard what sounded like a mosquito box, and Taylortrap begun to attack without any say on what the suit was doing. This mosquito box sound also makes the once reasonable ghosts of adults, known as the phantom animatronics (Noire Taylor, James Grey, Ryley, the ghost form of the blonde, and two others), act aggressive also.

Theren survives this ordeal.

On the fifth night, something causes a fire, and Theren falls unconscious. Taylortrap finds Theren and shields her from the flames as he carries her out of the building. Whilst Theren is slightly burned, Taylortrap finds that he has been burned quite badly, the metal of his suit has bonded to what remained of his flesh. This winds up feeling like a blessing, as the melded metal moulded to his frame, allowing him to be more human again, provided his clothes are modest enough and he does something about the ears.

The blonde in the lab coat, as a human, wheels herself out the back of a black van that was in the car park and introduces herself as Cecilia, a half spirit. She and her associates, Oxanna and Belladonna, have been monitoring this place and arrange something with Taylortrap and the other phantoms.

2018: FNAF world takes place in a realm created within the internet. Oxanna, Belladonna, and Cecilia use this as an opportunity to try and learn more about ghosts and about how to eliminate beings that have turned themselves into purely code. Their reasons for such measures are not yet known by anyone other than themselves.

2018: FNAF UCN takes place yet again, but this time, it's Cassidy trapping William in a digital replica of the warehouse, inviting spirits, both dead and alive to help her torment William with the same ordeal he placed on the detective lady all those years ago.

2018: William escapes onto a disk and immediately gets back to instructing Fazbear entertainment on their next endeavour: cloning this virtual self of his.

2018: [FNAF VR] Cassey Taper (Tape Girl), Vanessa Diego, Sylvia Blake, and Jeremy NG are a small games company, Silver Parasol, contracted by Fazbear entertainment to make a game. Fazbear Entertainment aim to use this game to make clones of William Afton and use Silver Parasol as a scapegoat to take the fall.

Jeremy is the first to be infected by glitchtrap. He winds up cutting off his face to get it out.

Sylvia is next. She gets help from Cassey to compartmentalise glitchtrap in in-game tapes to get it out of her head. This works.

Cass steals the game and takes it home and tries to remove William, only to get possessed herself. She calles PI Fitzgerald, who shares the same first name as her Jeremy, and as a team, they remove glitchtrap from the game by force. Cass replaces glitchtrap with a harmless replica.

Vansessa Diego playtests the game, and as she tests the replica ending, glitchtrap uses this as an opportunity to possess Vanessa, despite having been removed from the game.

2019: The game is released, with glicthtrap no longer inside, as Cassey made the digital clone left behind useless, and William himself has latched onto Vanessa . Whilst Fazbear Entertainments plan to create a cult has failed, Vanessa is possessed, leaving the situation the same old stalemate between the Execs and Paranormal cops.

2019: After Vanessa helps on the halloween DLC, she goes to work at a maintenance firm.

2019: Luis Cabrera finishes his part-time employment with fazbear entertainment and now can focus on the maintenence firm, which is his and Anna's shared buisness, full time. He is unaware that Faz Ent left the admin end of the employee tracking system on his device.

He gets a ping from Vanessa's machine and muscle memory takes over as he types out what he would have if he were still employed by fazbear entertainment.
Vanessa does not seem to mind.
Luis asks her to go for a coffee, as he figures something is wrong, as they both have their former employers tracking software on their computers, and Vanessa has been searching some rather disturbing topics. Vanessa accepts, hoping that it's a date.

[rest of ar (HQ - glitch release at maintinence firm - adelaide incident - V_A)]

Jan 2022: A case involving the male from the dog case occurs. Since the incident in 2007, he had managed to start a family. Something happened, and the dog animatronic from that case 'fetched' his wife and child. The child survived, but she did not. Whilst trying to help the young boy, he runs away from her, and she can't catch up to him.

Feb 2022: Sylvia goes on a mission after a tip-off about potential Fazbear activity. She winds up getting ambushed and knocked out. She wakes up with a syringe scar in her arm and blood tests reveal she was injected with blank remnant. She is put on medical leave and instructed to stay warm until the remnant breaks down, as even though it carries little to no ghost, it could be dangerous. Whilst reluctant, she is hallucinating the ghost of a young girl so takes the medical leave.

2022: Ness's sudden disappearance shocks everyone. Luis knows it was likely glitchtrap, and he likely had her drive somewhere, but nobody knows where.

About Daycare

The layout of the hidden room behind the daycare was different during the riot compared to during the events of SB, and it will change again for the raid.

Riot layout (arcade conspiracy, feed the machine): Main room is more cluttered. Hidden room: BBW arcade is right up against the same wall as the entrance to the room, with only just enough space for a human being to be hidden in the corner between it and the north wall. The arcade faces east. The floor is far clearer.

SB layout: same as in game. The arcade was moved from the corner to its more central position on the north wall, facing south, no longer touching the east wall, and clutter was brought in from the main room to the more secret one.

Raid layout (Sylviaโ€™s investigation reports): practically every piece of trash from the main room has been lobbed into the secret room. Itโ€™s a tip that you can barely toe through.

Ruin: wait and see...

About Fitzgerald

Renegade AU lore dump: Fitzgerald edition.

Some PI Jeremy Fitzgerald lore for you:

Jeremyโ€™s parents were a PI and a Japanese exorcist who used a mix of eastern and non-religious methods to deal with spirits. During the 60โ€ฒs his parents dealt with a LOT of ghosts, and when Jeremy was born in 1969, the ghost attacks got worse (only due to the fact that Mrs and Mr Fitzgerald were taking care of a baby so couldnโ€™t deal with as many ghosts). A ghost got close to seriously hurting Jeremy whilst he was sleeping; whilst he doesnโ€™t remember this, that is why he is scared of sleeping. When Jeremy was 7, his parents moved to America due to a mix of financial issues, but most importantly, because it was their only shot left at keeping their son safe from the local ghost population.

Also, Jeremyโ€™s mum is a descendant of OMCโ€™s sister, and Jeremyโ€™s dad is a descendant of the brother of the cowgirl that OMC married.

(Reminder: In the renegade AU, OMC is the ghost of a disgraced Japanese Samuri.)

About FazFrights

Only select Fazbears Frights stories are cannon in the Renegade AU, and the post ending outcome is generaly greatly different at that.

-'Fetch' takes place in 2007 and Greg is the father of Gregory. As of security breach, Greg is comatose in a hospital in Norway and is known as 'the man with the dog bites', whilst Gregory is orphaned in America.

-Sarah gets to grips with being a pile of scrap and repairs the disk.

-Millie survives, having lost a hand (and later taking FT Freddy's as her prosthetic). She opens an antiques store at 18 and starts dating Sarah. There is a desk flip calendar on her desk labelled with "days since Sarah last ran into traffic to save someone", and it never gets past 7. Sarah gets scrap off of Millie (who hordes the stuff) to repair herself.

-The ball pit balls were all handed over to Millie as those who had parts of themselves stuck in the balls kept on walking into her shop whenever the police brought the balls around. So they just leave them with her. One of the balls reversed the body swap that occurred in 'loney freddy'.

-'In the flesh' is the story of a stray bullet and actually has nothing to do with William any more than a Scientist, Camilla, saying 'you ordered my daughters death, now feel pain'. Camilla is the mother of Celes, C location's Chica spirit, and Susanna, Y location's Jeremy(guard). Celes (11 as of 87) died, and Susana (22 as of 87) had her head bit by Mangle but survived. The code forces a buffer overflow and uses that to cause 'changes' to a person (Dr Grimm's notes really helped her out). The project this code was meant to be in was supposed to be worked on my the C location manager, but instead wound up getting worked on almost two decades later by some shmuck. The rabbit child was found by Paranormal Responder Cassy Taper, and it imprinted on her immediately, so it's just a slightly odd kid really. The moral is manage your heap and stack bozo if I see one more overflow error I swear.

-Yes 'Fazgoo' exists. It's remnant but with a bunch of additives to try and more cheaply contain and use it. Remnant + ONE containing substance (blood, metal) = just remnant. Remnant + silly putty or some shit that remnant does not properly adhere to = 'Fazgoo'.

-Due to the instability caused by an unsuitable containing substance, It's a DNA altering biohazard, but it's not AS dangerous as it's portrayed in the books; it only seems that dangerous as when synthesised and curated to the degree Fazbear Entertainment do, it can do very specific things, and naught more than that, like how the disks have to have extensive codes and a form to follow else they won't work right.

Most of the Tales of the pizaplex things did not happen:

-Sean, an electrician and police mole, makes sure of that. Half of the areas that exist only in those books were destroyed and had their main attractions destroyed by Sean before construction got anywhere.

-Ok, springtrap sweep somewhat happened? Not read that one yet, but the initial crew who laid the foundations were murdered by Afton AND some Faz Ent execs. Sean used this huge vacancy to get in.

-'The world parties with you' is an AR game inside a VR experience (hence why there was nobody guarding the off limits thing; 'Maya' was meant to go there to test it). 'Maya' does not really exist. In the real world, she is a 30 year old Fazbear Entertainment executive called Madaleine. The reason why things go to an apocalypse is some latent code left behind by Dr Grimm to make this project crash and burn; by making a harrowing and traumatising bug that'll turn anyone away from Fazbear Entertainment (in part thanks to this 'bug' he made also causing amnesia in those who experience it for too long, taking advantage of the 'fake life' part of the VR simulation).

-Madaleine becomes a police mole as a result.

-For any given story really, it's either 'Mike and Sean stopped it', 'That was an exec', or 'Damnit Foxwell'.

-Maybe the daycare ones will happen? Not read them yet.

-But anything that gives a new attraction? 'Damnit Sean you ran over the robot. Sean where are you taking that refuse sack where is the main robot we can't restart construction of this attraction without it.' And Sean burns the robot in the police incinerator.

About FazFrights 2

There are a lot of tales of the pizaplex that takes place outside the pizaplex, hu.

Well. The VR simulation that the Fazbear Exec Madaleine was in is part of a larger VR environment consisting of zones known as โ€˜worldsโ€™ (they are only in a different โ€˜worldโ€™ of the environment if they need to be compartmentalised, such as Madaleineโ€™s project). Bobbiedots, Submechanophobia, Animatronic Apocalypse, and any other displaced event that has no place in my AU (or have already been resolved by Sean destroying the attraction before it could be built before they could happen) happens in this VR environment, as it is the testing grounds where Fazbear Entertainment make the plans that Sean and Mike foil in the first place.

The renegade AU will have its own overarching narrative involving the infiltration of the larger VR environment, using most of the Faz Frights stories as the basis.

To kill a tree, you must kill its roots. Itโ€™s well enough to destroy a site before its attraction can be built, but other plans threaten to take its place.

โ€œSo what if we just destroyed all their plans?โ€

An identity not matching a face, burned off fingerprints, claiming โ€˜interpolโ€™ to get where he needs to go, and vanishing in the blink of an eye. A suspicious stranger who responds to โ€˜Morgan Smithโ€™ who rarely calls folk by their names; โ€˜Cannasโ€™, โ€˜Rossโ€™, โ€˜Alโ€™, โ€˜Lukeโ€™, and โ€˜Gaillardโ€™ are not names known to the virtual populous of Fazbear Entertainments VR testing grounds, but they are names called out by the mystery interpol agent anyway as he tries to find his own kind.

โ€œI know who you really are. Do you remember the truth?โ€

AR Fun Facts

CK animatronic maintenance consists of: Anna Kwemto, Luis Cabrera, Mark Cho, Daniel Rocha, Raha Salib, Steven Willson, and Vanessa Diego.

Anna is good at seeing people's hidden potential.

- Between being a baby and five, Anna's hair had always been dyed indigo. After her and her mother moved out of 'the labs', her hair was dyed back to its natural colour of black.

- She dyed it indigo herself at 18.

- Anna knew Luis when they were kids. She was one of his few friends, as being a strange new kid kinda gets you picked on as much as being European does (yep, Luis is Spanish).

- Kayla was one of the bullies who picked on her.

- As a result of warnings given to her by her mother ("Never follow a stranger", "beware people in costumes that conceal their face"), she is extremely paranoid.

- Hierarchy does not exist in CK animatronic maintenance. Everyone is equal.

- Anna's hidden potential is that she'd have made a great 'purple guy' if the primary locations had managed to stay open for that long.

Dan and Anna are married

- Dan didn't work for Anna's company during its start-up period; he worked somewhere else.

- A short while after Anna had set up the maintenance firm, Dan got into an accident at work, and he quit on the spot.

- When he went home to Anna, he looked like a bloodied wreck.

- Dan: "Seeing as you've finished setting up the maintenance firm, do you need an employee?"

- Anna: "You need a doctor! What happened!"

- Anna did take her husband as an employee, and is the only person other than the doctor and Dan's former colleagues who knows what his accident was.

- People either know they are married or do not notice at all.

- They both kept their surnames.

- Anna is known to run errands to restock on supplies until late; that is why Dan didn't notice that she hadn't come home during the Adeleide incident.

Raha has a scar where her drill ponytail is

- To preface, Raha's mother is Scottish and a gas station attendant, and her father is Israeli and a businessman, and they met when she told him to quit being a dick to her and the other gas station workers (keep in mind he was a regular at this petrol station). Getting put in his place like that must have changed something about him, or maybe he just wanted the inverse of what he'd been taught to want, cos he stopped being a dickhead immediately.

- Now her parents 'meet weird' is out of the way, Raha was raised with her mom's ideals in an non-religious household and environment.

- Note: Raha's father does sometimes get her headscarves, but she AWLAYS uses them as either belts (and emergency rags) or extra protection when she's welding (she lends them to the guys when they needed to weld too, and they use them more than she does) so no hair gets scorched.

- She has a scar on the back of her head as the result of an undisclosed accident that occurred between her interview at CK maintenance and her first day.

- During her interview, her hair was in a low drill ponytail.

- on her first day, she had a headscarf clipped awkwardly over half her hair and she looked miserable.

- Anna asked what was wrong, and she disclosed that she had a chunk of hair shaved off as a result of medical actions taken to deal with an injury caused by a recent accident.

- Anna asks if she can see (seeing Dan's scars, Raha feels comfy showing Anna her scars also, knowing she won't make fun of her).

- Anna looks at the scar and asks if she can style Raha's hair (she thinks she can cover up the wound).

- Raha, seeing the chance to have her hair up and out and not have the bald patch visible, aggress.

- Anna styles Raha's hair into the side-drill (it's at a halfway point between the back of her head and being a side-pony) we see today. It covers the injury perfectly, and Raha loves the new hairdo.

Mark Cho has dyslexia

- Mark has dyslexia, but is a master programmer.

- However, he struggles with that due to struggling with reading and spelling.

- So he prefers working as a janitor, but can and will code when needed.

- Anna hired him for his mixed bag of hidden talents, after all.

Steve frequently disassociates

- He's a fast worker, so nobody minds, but he tends to zone out for long periods of time if he has nothing to do.

- He also generally sucks at remembering things, so has to write things down more often than normal.

- He is friends with Jim (James Campbell), who also doubles as a contact to fazbear entertainment.

- Even though Jim does kinda betray him by lying about the 'virus' the circuit boards caused, he'd be broken if anything happened to him.

Luis is not as dumb as he seems (and he works with Anna and Co, so is a contractor)

- Whilst he and Anna were starting up the maintenance firm (Luis is a co-founder of CK animatronic maintenance), he took a part time position at Fazbear Entertainment to make ends meet. This is where he met Ness.

- Both his and Ness's computers have the overseer/employee variants respectively of Fazbear Entertainments employee internet usage monitoring system. Even after leaving Fazbear entertainment, they can't seem to remove the software.

- They don't find out about this software still being here, however, until a while after Ness starts working at CK animatronic maintenance.

- As a result of finding the software, what he sends in the emails is all calculated.

- After all, he knows about the internal server error that has been exposing contractee's emails to anyone who has access to a contractor or contractee company email. His part-time work at Faz'Ent let him see a lot of what was going on behind the scenes, and he uses that knowledge to help Anna keep their employees at CK animatronic maintenance safe.

- So he does everything he can to contact Ness when glitchtrap has her stuck at her desk whilst making himself seem as non-suspicious to the contractee as possible.

- He even avoids emailing his other colleagues to prevent Faz Ent from realising that nether him nor Nessie work directly for Fazbear Entertainment anymore.

- Him and Nessie use out-of-work meetings like coffee dates to discuss plans on how to manage, and hopefully even eliminate, Glitchtrap, and what code words to use (ie, why they both refer to Glitchtrap as 'Brad').

- Him and Nessie have a plan. Everyone is in on it except Fazbear Entertainment, who only sees the emails so only sees their follower and a simp.

- which is exactly what he wants them to see.

- Also worth noting that the only reason why he has brown skin is because it's a tan; he goes outside. If he were to shut himself inside for a prolonged period of time, he'd go about as pale as Mark.

After the Adelaide incident and after Toxic Springtrap (Vincent Taylor) was delivered to the firm, Anna received a crash course from Vincent on how-to-hitman 101 so she'd be prepared in case something worse happened.

Kayla and Jim are Fazbear Entertainment Employees.

- When Kayla and Jim's deaths were made public, the cause was not, other than stated as "animatronic related accident".

- Presumed murder, maybe ritual sacrifice.

- The news breaks Steve.

- No remains were given to the families of Jim and Kayla. So maybe they weren't even dead. Yet.

Charles, Tristain, Nora, and Izzy are thier own separate robotics company. R&D robotics.

- Charles runs it. Tristain helped set it up. Izzy runs accounts.

- Nora is technically the only actual employee, but she's also Tristain's GF.

- They are sick to death of being mistaken for Faz Ent's research and development department.

- (In the original draft (ID: Concept!<name>), they were going to be Faz Ent employees and evil, but I scrapped that and made them contractors like Anna and co when I started designing them. Then, one of them was suposed to die, but I couldn't bear to kill any of them due to the changes I had made so they get maimed and traumatised instead. Concept!Nora had red hair, Concept!Charles used Olaf from Advance Wars Dual Strike as a placeholder design. Charles Ramierz will be taking on Concept!Charles's role and personailty, Cheryl M will be taking on Concept!Nora's role but not personailty).

Nora's back is covered in one large burn scar

- She refuses to explain what caused it.

- Both her parents are alive, and also refuse to disclose what occured, stating "she asked us not to say".

- Her medical records never mention a burn wound.

- That means she patched herself up, or had someone patch it up off-the record. The latter is more likely.

- The only evidence towards when it occured is a photograph of her in an open backed dress at 22 years old - there is no burn - and a photo of her in the same dress at 24 - there is a burn.

- Exposure to religious imagery (specificaly those in the christian sphere of religions) causes a fear response which is confirmed to be linked to the cause of the burn.

- Exposure to a high-ranking member of any church causes her to turn heel and run. She may stop, drop, and roll when a sufficient distance away. If threataned, she will slam into them with her elbow, almost as if she's trying to pass a fire onto them, before running away.

-Another part of this fear response is that her back sets on fire. The fire cannot and does not hurt her, and can only be put out when she is removed from the fear source and calm.

- Nora is an Athiest, and so is the rest of her direct family. Her parents were athiests long before Nora was even born.

- Nora and her family have refused to go to small rural towns since nora was 23.

After Ness was spirited away by William, Luis spends hours in his room trying to figure out where Glitchtrap had taken her.

- Using what he learned from the emails, he finds that she had more than likely been taken to the Pizzaplex.

- Most of the time taken between Ness going missing and going to the megaplex himself was preparation and trying to go about bringing her home the legal way.

- Only after on-duty officers kept on getting shooed out and the only option for them to get in was to either go undercover or for Sylvia to smuggle them in (and have her risk the wrath of her bosses if they ever found out she lied about turning the police away), did it become apparent that he needed to play dirty.

- So he played dirty (re: the events of Arcade Conspiracy (fic)).

About Two Patient 46s

Hereโ€™s how the renegade AU will have Vanny still be patient 46:

Gregoryโ€™s mother is a Fazbear entertainment scientist.

Gregory was initially going to be used to resurrect Evan, but after seeing how much Gregoryโ€™s father loved his son, she couldnโ€™t help but get attached too, so she wants to protect her son from his intended fate.

After the dog bites incident where she died, her ghost managed to make its way to Faz Ent HQ and into their VR testing environment, where she made a digital clone of her son and used Vannyโ€™s patient records to make this clone the killer that Fazbear entertainment wanted. All she needs to do is make a gene splice or real clone to carry the memories.

She is talked down from this by Mike during his infiltration of the VR Environment (which happens between Arcade Conspiracy and Security Breach), but the digital clone still exists, and the memories could very easily be forced into the real Gregoryโ€™s mind if Fazbear Entertainment got their hands on him...

(Weather heโ€™s given these memories or not depends on how he acts in the Ruin DLC, as this will take place after the raid, but before everyoneโ€™s had a chance to go home because Fazbear Entertainment goes and kidnaps Ness and Gregory and drag them back to the ruins of the Megaplex)

About Virtual Clone 46

I've already established that Vanny (Vanessa Diego) is patient 46.

I've already established that Gregoryโ€™s mother is a Fazbear entertainment scientist who was working on making a virtual clone of her son, using the recordings of patient 46's killings to guide the virtual clone's first few kills within the VR environment. She wanted her experiment to be a secret ace up her sleeve to save her son. But news travels fast in Fazbear Entertainment's VR environment.

DLC girl (At the moment she has no set name, but goes by many names; 'Ruth' and 'Victoria' are two of her favourites) knows about the Clone 46 experiments. She is a gene splice of Sylvia Blake and an unnamed Faz Ent employee. She grew up within the walls of various Faz Ent HQ's and has been subject to various experiments all her life. She knows all about their VR environment, and she ran away to the Megaplex after Faz Ent tried to force her into the VR environment as yet another test subject. She'd found out about the Clone 46 experiments as the execs would not stop talking about it, and she didn't want to be Clone 46 number two.

When she first encountered Gregory two days after the riot, he inexplicably knew about the Clone 46 experiments too. And he knew that the remnant that Ruth had been injected with as a part of the experiments that had been her entire life had belonged to Charlotte Emily.

Though take note; Mike's infiltration of the VR environment happened the DAY BEFORE the Breach (The events of Security Breach).

Vanessa Diego was also aware of the Clone 46 experiments via William, which is why she offered to adopt Gregory; on the off-chance that the memory side of the experiment was fast-tracked onto Gregory without his mother's knowledge. She felt as if she had a duty to protect the kid from her memories, and Gregory felt a duty to protect Vanessa Diego from her own memories.

About The Afton Family.

TW: canon typical FNAF: Sister Location events (disembowelment, hanging as a murder method)

William Afton:

William and Ina share a half sister (Will and Ina are not related, they just have someone who is related to each of them via one parent in common).

Whilst he engages in some of the science side of Faz Ent, that is his wife's domain. He's more of the business guy; bring in the funding and laying out the field for research to take place.

His stake in this whole deal is trying to find a secret to eternal life. It can be argued that he's found it seeing as he just doesn't die, but he wants what he inadvertently gave several of the Security Guards whom worked at Freddy's (several guards are possessed or died and were brought back OK). In chasing this immortal human form, he devises a plan to get in contact with his half sister, and ruin her half sister's descendants life in order to procure a suitable vessel for immortality and the supplies to make the process happen.

Adelaide Afton:

Mrs Adelaide Afton, William's wife. Just as mad as her husband, Adelaide sees the pursuit of eternal life as the pursuit of eternal beauty. She has killed and tortured to further her research and has used many robotic forms and has possessed many humans to further her ends. Adelaide is the lead scientist at Fazbear Entertainment, and due to her love for her research, she was mostly absent at home.

Died during her research into remnant during 1985 by getting hit with the scooper. Possessed Balora to continue her research (her will specifically stated instructions on how to ensure that she possessed Ballora). She is far better at pretending than her daughter, Elizabeth, to the point where her daughter didn't even know that the robot who kept on going back to the scooper was in fact Adelaide, invested in her experiments as per the course.

Enard was a minor setback in her availability at her labs, but she was able to return soon enough.

Over the course of her research from 1987 and beyond, she possessed many different robots; a Funtime Freddy in Circus Baby's Pizza World (got crushed in the caroucell), Molten Freddy, and later The Blob.

Elizabeth:

Died to circus baby in 1983.

After the Enard fiasco, Faz Ent found her and placed her in the Charlie replacement robot that Henry had left unfinished. After being defeated by Charlie's mutual destruction tactics (whom afterwards was taken to a non-Faz Ent lab and upgraded into an adult form), Faz Ent themselves picked up Elizabeth from the scene. Due to her damage, both physical and psychological, she resisted repairs and sorted her own, resulting in scrap baby. After 2004, she stuck around (and whilst mildly jealous was happy to see that 'Charlie 3' was still out there).

Years later, she could just tell that remnant created from herself was being used, so went to investigate, and found that an adult woman was being frequently administered the substance against her will (apparent from said woman punching whomever shoved the needle into her in thier face). She possessed the woman to attempt to ease the hallucinations the woman was suffering, but remained dormant as to not interfere with her life. Possessing her did not help, but Liz found other ways to help; by giving this woman the ability to survive inhuman amounts of blood loss.

Michael:

The older brother bully, yet it wasn't wholly his fault; he was raised by his father to be aggressive and ruthless. Much like how William instructed Vincent's parents to raise their children to be stone cold and emotionless, by the time he had his own, he opted to attempt to raise a more emotionally charged killer after seeing the flaws of thatโ€ฆ previous experiment. Him shoving his brother into Fredbear's jaws was just a cog in a much greater machine.

During October of 1987, he found a job opening at the rental and storage facility that housed the animatronics of Circus Baby's Pizza world. His colleagues were a duo named Morgan Smith and Oliver Rocha. Morgan always wore a mask covering the lower half of his face, fitted with a voice modulator no doubt as he was far too young for such a scratchy slimy voice; only someone else trying to mask their identity would pick such a voice. Oliver on the other hand fitted his mature voice quite well; this man hid nothing and had nothing to hide. He saw his colleagues hang in the galleries before getting disembowelled by the scooper; he was unaware that 'Morgan' and Oliver survived.

In 1997, he found his way to Location: C. He took the night shift with Mike and took it as an opportunity to kidnap the other guard to try and replace him. It didn't work, and Mike escaped a few weeks after. Michael saw a connection between the the mute lady Morgan Schmidt (Mike's disguise that Mina helped him with to get Mike back home) and the technician he saw strung up in Ballora gallery, Morgan Smith. He didn't connect these dots until 1999 that both were Mike Schmidt.

In 2004, when Faz Ent was trying to reboot itself with the entrepreneur kits, he found his way to Audery's second attempt and helped Henry burn the place down after she managed to get all of the animatronics in one place.

Audery escaped. Michael's fate is much less clear.

Evan:

Patient zero of the 1983-7 consciousness transfer experiments. The experiment was a success and he actually recovered from his coma, albeit not the same. With his consciousness having been tossed back and forth between a lobotomised body and a robot, several of his emotions were stunted to the point of no longer existing; fear being one of them. This lack of fear is how he was able to join the military as an adult. He died whilst deployed, but his ghost returned to America to keep an eye on his son and on the other Aftons. In 2021, he possessed Gregory as he could tell that the child was being used as a test subject from the remnant concentration in the kid's blood, but more notably, one of the kid's eyes.

Not related to the Aftons:

This section covers characters who are not Aftons by any stretch, but at one point or another are mistaken for one or could be confused for one. Or are just unfortunately linked to the Aftons in other ways. Mostly for clearing up who are not Aftons though.

Mike Schmidt: Anyone who thinks Mike and Michael are the same are few and far between, and even then it's just people who met Michael once whilst he was trying to impersonate Mike (and failing at it, so confusion was easily cleaned up).

Sylvia Blake (Officer Vanessa): William Blake (Sylvia's father) and William Afton may have been buddies, but they were not the same man. Mr Blake was not an Afton by name or blood, but is good friends with Mr Afton.

Vanessa Diego (Vanny): Also not an Afton. Her gran's half sister (IE, Ina Diego's half sister) was a result of Vanessa's great grandmother getting with William's dad (so William has a half sister who is Ina's half sister), but none of Ina, Joy, nor Ness are related to the Aftons in any way other than "Ina's mum banged William's dad and the result is an arsonist who keeps trying to ruin our lives". William keeps trying to make her his replacement body, and Execs treat her like she's William 2.0. A very defiant William 2.0 who does not want to be William 2.0, but the Execs insist that Vanessa Diego is an Afton when she is not.

Non Faz-Ent scientists: Not all scientists are Faz Ent. Plenty of them are independent or work for other less shitty companies and don't transfer kids minds into robots for a living. It just happens that the visible majority of scientists who don't also have another job are of Faz Ent origin, and it's those guys that keep making the news with a new kind of murder machine, which paints the rest of the community in a bad light and rightfully pisses off all the non Faz-Ent scientists.

About Ghosts and Possession.

In the Renegade AU there are two types of ghosts: Electrical and Remnant.

Electrical ghosts are the normal ghost; the last electrical impulses of a persons nervous system that... sticks around somehow.

Remnant is... debatable. It's liquid ghost, but can be extracted from living hosts. The running theory is that it is emotion, but put into a liquid form. It's more of a small fraction of electrical ghost bound to a liquid, with the liquid usually being blood or metal as these are the most stable containment mediums. Other mediums can be used, but that runs the risk of the remnant becoming a biohazard.

The existence of ghosts is secular in nature.

In fact, a disgraced former samurai only created his 'domain' because his wife, a wild west cowgirl, was sad that all organised religion (including the one she was a part of) was just incorrect; there was no gods or anything. So the disgraced samurai took the mask of an alligator and promised her that he would ensure those who were truly evil were punished in death, creating OMC.

๏ปฟ

Most research into ghosts is modern and spearheaded by Dr May Marion Schmidt. Most of her research was started after November 1987, when her brother strangely 'recovered' from neck injuries he'd sustained a month prior. (Mike didn't just spontaneously recover as the initial hypothesis was, Federico - a ghost - just begun to manage the symptoms and internal problems so Mike could ACTUALY recover but not have it absolutely suck in the process).

Someone injected with remnant will have Apparitions (Defined as a hallucination caused by a ghost or ghost related things) of the person or persons that the remnant came from. If the ghosts are nearby, the injected individual can see the ghosts and will still see them in the state that they were in when the remnant sample was taken, even if their appearance has changed since the (re: Gregory seeing Evan as a child despite Evan having survived the bite of 83 and becoming a solider).

It is easier for a ghost to possess someone injected with their remnant, and the person will only feel a portion of the pain of the ghosts death, making it harder to notice.

The specific act of possession is purely the ghosts choice. Unless external factors like another ghost, electric shocks, or possession resistance is at play, an ghost can possess anyone. This takes a lot of effort on the ghosts end, which is why William can't just possess anybody so easily.

Sometimes, a ghost can get bound to the thing they possess and cannot un-possess their host (such are the notable cases of Dunn and 'Miss', as well as Krasnyy and Philip, amongst others). It is theorised that a ghost possessing someone and that possession ensuring the hosts survival in an incident (anything that could have caused the hosts death without the ghost giving them an 'immunity') causes the ghost and host to be unable to separate.

'Immunity' is hardly a technical term and seems an almost foolish notion, but ghosts will always give their host an immunity of some kinds. Blood loss, asphyxiation, organ damage, falls, crushing, fire, and poisoning are the most common ones, but more niche cases have been reported. Newly possessed hosts will only receive one immunity, but as a ghost and host grow more acclimated to one another, a related immunity may arise as the ghost grows more skilled in preventing death by the immune cause (On the surface it looks like a person is immune to blood loss, in reality there's a ghost working overtime to micro-manage their hosts blood to make sure they don't die).

Hosts also sometimes gain a related ability from the ghost (again, it's the ghost doing stuff). Notable cases are Krasnyy's energy drain that he gets from Philip, PT's pyromancy that she gets from Blake, and and Gregory's event simulation that he gets from Evan.

Normally, most ghosts will not take over the hosts body unless the host asks them to, or the situation requires their specific expertise to survive. Some ghost/host duos seamlessly switch between who is in control to navigate dangerous situations. (notable cases being Krasnyy and Philip)

However, some ghosts (such as William, Adelaide, and Christie) who will take over a host and refuse to give the host control back, meaning that it has to be took back by force. Willpower means basically nothing, and means such as forcing the host to sustain injuries, delivering an electric shock, 'the flash-bang trick', or having another ghost try and take over are the main means of thwarting unwanted possession.

Multiple ghosts may exist in one body at a time (Carl Burke and 'Miss' are experts in this) but it requires immense amounts of co-operation from both the host and all ghosts, so a host and ghost can combine forces to force out an unwanted ghost from possessing the host. This could also be used for a host and ghost to trap another ghost within themselves to keep it from escaping.

About Cassie

Cassie. The catalyst.

Cassie is a Faz Ent sleeper agent because she didnโ€™t want to hurt anyone, but her โ€˜grandfatherโ€™ would not take no for an answer. She had been taught how to lie, fake emotion, blend into a crowd, the works. Sleeper agent and regular Cassie share the exact same skillset, so the only thing that happens when she gets dropped into agent mode is her intentions get altered. She has gone by many names, including โ€˜Ruthโ€™ and โ€˜Victoriaโ€™ and has dyed her hair with motor oil, talc, and most make-shift colourants that you can think of in order to create new identities to hide behind in order to shirk the heat and make Faz Ent loose chase with her. But Cassie is her true name.

With these skills, she had been able to evade Faz Ent execs, steal a metal mask that she is 99% sure was intended to be used to mind control this lady she keeps hearing about but the theft of the mask resulted in โ€˜alternative actionโ€™ being taken, find and befriend a boy named โ€˜Gregoryโ€™ who seemed to be in a situation like hers, find out what Faz Ent was planning for Gregory after he went missing, free Gregory from the VR environment and use Freddy to smuggle him to a populated area of the megaplex, flee the establishment, and hide in the shadows in the town that surrounds the megaplex.

By stealing the Vanny mask, Cassie inadvertently gave Ness an opening to give Williamโ€™s victims a chance to survive, and Ness was able to succeed two thirds of the time.

She and Gregory met soon after, and hid in the staffbot silo for the most part. Cassie was the one to figure out the real plan Faz Ent had for Gregory, but didnโ€™t get around to telling him, as he was grabbed and stuck in Faz Ents VR environment before she could work up the courage to tell another kid that a corporation wanted to turn him into an assassin.

By freeing Gregory from the VR environment, Cassie inadvertently set the Breach into motion, as if she hadnโ€™t freed him, his memories would have been overwritten with clone 46โ€ฒs (see About Two Patient 46s). If she didnโ€™t try to smuggle him out of the back labs in Freddyโ€™s stomach hatch, Freddy wouldnโ€™t have shut down on stage. After freeing Gregory, she had to flee the megaplex.

Short timeline:

Ness is kidnapped by William. Cassie steals the Vanny mask. Gregory is brought to the megaplex. Cassie and Gregory meet up for the first time. Gregory is abducted by the execs. The Riot happens. Cassie is able to rescue Gregory and smuggles him back to mapped and populated areas via Freddy, but itโ€™s showtime. Cassie flees the plex. The Breach happens. The Raid happens. Prelude of Ruin happens, and Cassie returns to the plex for Ruin.

About Burntrap

The mimic? Nope, just another name for William's final goal vessel.

Ok, letโ€™s set things straight; Glitchtrap is THE William Afton. That is just straight-up him. Burntrap is a vessel that he was forcing Ness to construct. It started as a simple endo, and was built up from there.

First, Faz Ent Execs used what remained of the salvaged Scraptrap to add something to the endo that William could more easily latch onto. But it seemed a little sparse, which is where Ness comes in; she had to procure parts to improve the Burntrap vessel and make it more robust. Despite the Riot resulting in zero deaths, the blood that was shed and a separate remnant extraction (via blood) that he forced Ness to enact provided sufficient remnant to tide Burntrap over, as Burntrap needs a stream of remnant, else it decays. This is all done so that one day, William may sacrifice his current vessel to bind himself to the Burntrap vessel.

Fortunately, Gregoryโ€™s antics during the Breach in freeing Ness and everyoneโ€™s input during the Raid in burning the Burntrap vessel ensured that he couldnโ€™t do that.

Yet.

William can only POSESS Burntrap OR Ness. Never both. When not under Williamโ€™s possession OR control, Burntrap does nothing; it receives no inputs. He can, however, use โ€˜alternative meansโ€™ to attempt to CONTROLL her or Burntrap. Possession does not mean control, and Ness has had enough first hand experience with William and Adelaideโ€™s tech to know the difference.

During the raid, the remnant collected during the Riot became a curse to William, as those whose blood was collected were able to use something dubbed by Sylvia as โ€œreverse control theoryโ€ to control Burntrap, even when William was possessing it.

About SB Ending Comics

The comics in the endings as comics themselves exist in the Renegade AU because Gregory drew them.

After the events of Ruin, Gregory's mind is a mess from the continuation of the clone 46 experiments and the use of the skill that getting possessed by Evan grants him. Heโ€™s seen Ness get freed, heโ€™s seen her get torn to shreds, heโ€™s seen her ALMOST get torn to shreds, heโ€™s seen Freddy body slam her off a roof, he saw someone grab her before she could fall, heโ€™s seen what happens if he just ran away, he thinks he may have stolen a van, he saw underneath the megaplex, was he there alone or were 30 people there with him with their own fights.

All he remembers for certain is that at one point, it all converges into Freddy and himself running away, running out from the depths of the megaplex.

Stars denote how close to the truth he is with each attempt at remembering the truth.

Runaway ending is 1 star? He canโ€™t be further from the facts.

Afton ending is 2 stars? Heโ€™s remembering what happened at the end of the Raid. He needs to focus on the breach.

Fire escape ending 2 stars? Raid again kid. Heโ€™s forgetting about Sylvia saving Ness too.

Vanny ending 2 stars? Well his failed recall did have this happen and Cassey has this recorded, and Glitchtrap tried to use the staffbots to โ€˜disassemble Vannyโ€™ himself and Gregory had to use the panel to save Ness by calling โ€œapprehend Vannyโ€, but thatโ€™s the false memory from Evanโ€™s skill plus the real events of the raid.

Loading docks 2 stars? Oxanaโ€™s van was a prominent part of the raid and the ladies did keep Gregory updated on Freddyโ€™s repairs when he was out of order. Maybe he did a recall at one point to see what would have happened. Maybe his mind is mixing up the breach with Oxana driving him and Ness back to their temporary accommodation post-Raid, but once again, his mind is taking the raid out of context and inserting it into the breach.

Princess Quest ending is 3 stars? Almost everything is correct, except for one thing.

What was that difference between PQ ending and reality?

Ness and Gregory never got that ice cream.

Also he forgot about Sylvia, and the west wing of the building going kaboom, but if he didnโ€™t draw getting ice cream and ended it right there before Sylvia runs up to meet them, heโ€™d have been spot on.

If youโ€™re wondering how Freddy is his full self by the end of the raid, Oxana and co repair him after Team A find his body in fazerblast. He then tries to push Ness off the roof and gets repaired by Oxana and her squad AGAIN. Finally he gets airdropped into the old restaurant so the crew have something to take the heat during the 'fight' against Afton (that is more akin to the koi-koi scene from summer wars).

And then Freddy gets obliterated at the start of prelude of ruin. Gregory and Sylvia get captured, escape, find Ness, get captured again, and this is where the Clone 46 experiments continue and mess up his brain, making him forget the truth.

About Burntrap and Mimic

Burntrap is the real world William Vessel.

Mimic is the Faz Ent VR Environment counterpart. (See my other lore dumps; If itโ€™s Faz Frights Tales of the Pizzaplex, itโ€™s in the VR Environment)

The endo picked out by the execs was just some glamrock endo with nothing special going on; the only special thing is that William and the Execs had Ness fuse what was left of Scraptrap onto this endo.

Mimic is the VR Environment counterpart, as the execs working on the environment needed William, or at least a substitute of him, else the whole ordeal would be pointless (they are trying to revive him after all).

William has no interest in going into the VR environment, but created algorithms so that his VR environment counterpart could copy his mannerisms, mimicking himself, so he can focus on creating and preserving Burntrap, whilst the research division can get their research done without needing constant assistance.

Some execs who work on the VR Environment sometimes call Burntrap Mimic and Vice Versa, much to Williamโ€™s chagrin, and Adelaideโ€™s amusement.

I am releasing my first fangame! Itโ€™s a little thing I made in RPG maker MZ, and whilst I can code in C++ and C# and have made some things in Unity, itโ€™s just nice to not have the weight of physics and the movement system on your shoulders so you can just focus on making a story and somehow turning what should be a simple series of โ€˜ifโ€™ statements into spaghetti.

Total Dev time: approx. 120 hours.

The game is calledโ€ฆ

The Haunted Watch.

Plot:

The year is 1997.

There have been many Freddy's locations, and each tried to emulate the methods of what transpired at Hurricane, Utah.

Whilst most have closed, the location in Chicago, Illinois, is still open, despite being noted as the failure of the bunch.

With a living phone guy, a reluctant purple man who may or may not now be colluding with the police, and a focus on electrical ghosts rather than remnant, this location was quite frankly deemed a mess, and now as the 10 year anniversary of this locations missing children incident approaches, the location cannot stay open any longer.

For the last week, the night guard on shift is Phone 'Krasnyy' Guy. As it approaches the 10 year anniversary of the missing children incident, the 4 year anniversary of almost getting murdered by Vincent Taylor on his 4th night also draws close, as well as it having been a few months since the animatronics made him their โ€˜voiceโ€™ (which entails him having to do as the animatronics command, since the animatronics realised that having a teammate not confined by circuitry would speed up the process of finding their killer).

All he has to do is survive one new final week. But the animatronics are not trying to kill him, but instead, are intent on pushing his sanity to its limits to find out when he will break again, as theyโ€™re not letting go of their final opportunity so soon.

You know Luis Cabrera from FNAF AR: Special Delivery's emails? Him. Send me your designs for him.

I will doodle him.

Kinda like requests but you can only request your specific design of a pre-specified character.

Yes this is also a plug for my challenge over on the fnaf amino that centres around Luis, http://aminoapps.com/p/8pjge77 go check it out.

Are you on Art Fight? Do you have FNAF OCs?

Or do you have Among Us OCs?

Please I'm struggling to collect characters for a mass attack.

Here's a link to last year's Art Fight - Attack: FNAF OC Mass attack

I've had some strange ideas, and just wanted to get them out there. I've already shared this in a discord server, but I wanted to put this somewhere else as well that isn't just my notes app.

I'm not normally one for dream theories because they take away all the story and stakes, but how about one where it's 50/50. The stakes are real, just distorted. The place is real, just distorted. This is more of a 'distorted view' theory, but hey. It's a cute idea I had after watching people play prison architect and the escapists, and it reminded me of that one really dumb theory from 2014, so I decided to put my own spin on things.

Of course Mike is an innocent smol bean in this spin on things. Just, just read it.

Prison guards:

The night guards are now security guards at a prison. (They work watching the cameras and generally have minimal interaction with the convicts. They're also the group in charge of night patrols.)

The animatronics are now the convicts within the prison.

Mike has frequent hallucinations, but has medication to prevent it, and worked through it to become a security guard. He is the protagonist of this highly messed up story. He knows he can't read whilst hallucinating and can only see names, so knows the "notice of termination" and "paycheques" that he sees are just post-it notes addressed to him and his colleagues, so he ignored the content of the notes. Also, If he's hallucinating, he sees the convicts as animatronics. Sometimes he sees his colleagues as they are, but, sometimes he can't see them at all.

Fritz is one of the maintenance workers who'se a good friend of the guards. He's outgoing and bubbly, and tends to hang about fixing problems with wiring.

'Phone guy' is the security guard who trained Mike. He's kind, and tries his best to smile, even when he's sad. Whilst he does get attacked frequently, he pulls through. I'm going to call him Krasnyy Guy in the meantime.

Jeremy is the guard that Mike shadowed for his first week. Tough as nails, but has a soft spot for his close friends.

There's a purple guy whose actually a decent human being, but he's ruthless during riots. He's usually cold, but does warm up to people eventually. Hallucinating Mike is scared of him, but normal Mike knows the man is safe. I'm going to call him Vincenzo Taylor.

Michel Afton is also a guard. Due to most of his family being criminals, he's an outlier, and is trying to transfer to working at a different prison because he's sick of his family trying to kill him.

Charlotte is an AI that was created to try and improve security. She's helpful, but no more helpful than a normal person would be, so everyone just treats her like a colleague instead of a computer.

William Afton is a criminal mastermind incarcerated at the prison who keeps instigating riots.

Elizabeth got caught doing some murders for her dad, so was put in the prison. She tried to escape in a plan that involved attempting to murder her brother and use his uniform to escape undetected. Mike saw this happen, and managed to get help, but because Mike's medication had been stolen, it took a while for his colleagues to realise what he was saying, but luckily Michel was able to survive effectively getting gutted.

The FNAF 1 animatronics are now a gang and they keep planning to escape. Thier plan is to steal Mike's medication so he's more vulnerable, use this vulnerable state to catch Mike, mutilate him to make him unrecognisable, and switch his uniform with Freddy's jumpsuit so people will think that Freddy is dead instead of Mike. Their plan was to do this and use the resulting commotion of when it would have been found out that the dead guy was Mike to escape. This plan fails at the second stage (they never actually managed to catch Mike).

The plan fell apart when on the forth night, Krasnyy spotted them out of their cells at night whilst on patrol, so Felix (Foxy) attacked him to stop him from talking. Vincenzo found Krasnyy bleeding out but alive, so he got him medical attention, so he survived. That attack combined with Mike's ramblings made the plan that Freddy's gang had become obvious to the security team and ultimately fall apart by the seventh night.
